Mission
The mission of the Lake Placid/Wilmington Connecting Youth and Communities Coalition is to promote mental, physical and spiritual health by empowering and educating our youth to become leaders and engaged citizens.

Strategies

·   The strategies of The Coalition include comprehensive planning and coordination of education, prevention, and early intervention programs. 

·   Integrate youth where appropriate to create engagement opportunities.

·   Provide and support leadership opportunities for the youth of the community.

 

The Coalition believes success can be achieved only by involving all segments of our communities, including families, schools, businesses, law enforcement, health care professionals, civic groups, and faith institutions.
